16 & Under Elite
Program Objectives

The 16 & Under Elite team program is a developmental program whose main purpose is to improve the basic skill levels of young football players in the province of New Brunswick. The score and outcome of games are secondary to the emphasis on improving all participants level of play.

          Consequently, this program is run annually on a intraprovincial basis with teams from the three major cities taking part. The amount of game time involved is relatively minor versus the practice time that players spend sharpening their skills ( 30 hours). To further focus on the development of basic football skills , a number of special rules have been adopted . Refer to that section for details.
