Additional Information for the Provincial Stage of the U18 program.  

As we move towards the Provincial stage of the U18 Football Program there is additional information that you should be aware of.  

Our provincial coaches are highly qualified individuals who have coached and played at a high level of competition.  These coaches will be evaluating players on their individual performances and on how they relate with others in a team environment.  The selection process will be based on merit and team need and will not be influenced by school or minor association affiliation.   

All players will be asked to play multiple roles and they will be provided feedback on their performances with in these roles.  Please note this is a competitive program and playing time will not be equalized but rather determined by ability, performance and need.  Players will be challenged in all aspects of their game both physically and mentally.  We truly believe this will be one of the greatest experiences of your child’s life and the coaching staff is looking forward to creating positive lifelong memories of this program.   

We truly need each and every parent / guardian to clearly understand and support the goals of this program to make it successful.

·         We will do everything with the utmost integrity    

We understand that in some cases this with be the first time your child has been away from home in this type of program. All provincial team coaches have many years of coaching experience and all of our coaches and volunteers will have a completed police background check.   

Due to the weekend training camps we may be looking to have players billeted with your family or in the community.  We ask you to support us in this so your child can obtain the maximum training value and learn other important life skills.
